A catch-all mailbox receives messages sent to invalid email addresses under the very same domain name. For instance, a message sent to the mistyped suport@domain.com will go to support@domain.com in case the catch-all feature has been enabled for the latter. Thus, you can receive emails from colleagues or customers who may have sent a message to your email address with a spelling error or to an outdated one, which they may still have, but you have already disabled. Just one mailbox per domain name can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be set up for such a mailbox. This is due to the fact that at some moment you may start receiving spam messages in the catch-all mailbox and the forwarding limitation means that the spam will not be received in a 3rd-party mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Shared Hosting

Setting up a catch-all email mailbox will be incredibly easy in case you have a shared plan with our company. You can enable this option through our powerful, yet intuitive Email Manager, which is included in the Hepsia hosting Control Panel, via which you’ll manage your hosting account. You’ll see all the mailboxes that you’ve created displayed in alphabetical order and on the right-hand side of each one of them there will be a small "Catch-all" icon, which will quickly notify you whether a particular mailbox receives all the email messages pertaining to a given domain name or not. With one single click on the icon you can enable or disable this feature at any moment. If there’s enabled email forwarding or in case some other mailbox has already been set up as a catch-all one for a given domain name, you’ll receive a warning message from our system. The latter will not replace/deactivate anything automatically or without your approval.
